- Not the Las Vegas Strip (sidewalks, outdoor areas) — illegal, reported $600 fine.

Tips for first-time dispensary visitors
- Ask the budtender for help. They're used to first-timers. Tell them your experience level and what you're looking for.
- Start low, go slow. Especially with edibles — they take 1–2 hours to kick in and hit much harder than smoking. This is general visitor guidance, not medical advice.
- Read the label. Look for THC % and serving size. A high-THC product is not always better for beginners.
- Pre-rolls are easy. If you're unsure where to start, a single pre-roll is low-commitment and convenient.
- Vapes are discreet. A vape pen is easy to use and produces less smell than flower — useful in hotel rooms if the hotel allows consumption.
